Send a request
To request deletion, including when you cannot sign in, email with the subject “Account Deletion Request.” Self-service deletion is currently unavailable. Send the request from your MyCaseTrail account email if possible. Say whether you want to delete the account and its case information or correct or remove a specific item. If you cannot use the account email, explain how we can contact you to verify the request.
Do not send a password, government ID, receipt number, immigration record, or other sensitive case information in the first message. You can also use this address for questions about deleting your account or information.
Verification and handling
The installation operator must verify account control before changing or deleting private records. A request may require a secure follow-up. After verification, the operator must identify the account, case answers, uploaded documents, version history, sessions, and relevant backups, and explain what can be deleted or corrected and what must be retained under applicable law.
There is currently no automated account-deletion button, seven-day restoration window, published response deadline, or confirmed backup-erasure schedule. The operator must communicate the result and any limits directly to the requester.
Retention and questions
Some records may need to be preserved for a legal obligation, security investigation, or valid dispute. Local database backups and legacy migration copies may retain information until a documented deletion or rotation process is implemented. The operator must specify any retained categories and the reason in the response.
For more about current storage and limits, read the Privacy Policy. For a general question, use the contact section without sending case documents.
